Advisory: Economy Parking Rate Changes at Austin-Bergstrom International Airport to Go into Effect May 12, 2026

AUSTIN, Texas – Beginning May 12, 2026, ABIA Parking at Austin–Bergstrom International Airport (AUS) will implement an updated daily rate of $14 for the airport’s Economy Parking Lots.

This change reflects the airport’s response to increasing passenger traffic and continued demand for convenient on-airport parking options. The updated rate is part of ongoing efforts to support airport operations and improvements under the Journey With AUS expansion program.

The Red and Blue Parking Garage rates remain unchanged.

As with previous rate adjustments, vehicles that enter the Economy Parking Lots prior to 11:59 p.m. on May 11, 2026, will pay the previous $12 daily rate for the duration of their stay, even if they exit after May 12. Vehicles entering after 11:59 p.m. on May 11 will be charged the new $14 daily rate for the duration of their stay.

The AUS Economy Parking Lots are the closest surface parking option to the Barbara Jordan Terminal. Complimentary shuttle service is available between the Economy Parking Lots and the terminal. Upon returning to AUS, travelers can access shuttle pickup at the lower level across from baggage claim.

Economy Parking provides travelers with a convenient and cost-effective option for parking on-site at AUS.
